Audacy — Brand story, LinkedIn strategy & brand lift

Building one brand narrative ahead of a fundraising round, and giving each member of the team the means to carry it into their own networks.

STORY
01
THE CHALLENGE

Our client is Audacy, an energy tech venture capital firm based in APAC, working to catalyse and scale the technology behind the energy transition. The firm has built a portfolio of fourteen companies across electrification, energy storage, sustainable fuels, hydrogen, and carbon capture, utilisation and storage.

Audacy was preparing for a fundraising round. The expertise and the track record were there, but the way the firm described itself varied between its materials and its channels, and its standing as a thought leader in climate tech investment was not yet reflected in how it presented itself.

The team also wanted their individual profiles working for the firm. Investors place trust in people as much as in funds, and the team’s own visibility was an asset the firm had not yet put to use.

02
OUR APPROACH

We worked with Audacy  a brand story, a light brand lift, and a LinkedIn strategy for each member of the team, ahead of the raise.

We began with competitive analysis, mapping how others investing in the same space present themselves and where Audacy sits among them. That gave the positioning work a reference point rather than a blank page.

We then wrote the brand story, covering the firm’s mission, values, activities, positioning and key stakeholders. We drafted it as versatile text rather than a fixed statement, so that the same narrative could carry across the website, brochures, social media and direct communication with investors, and hold together across all of them.

We developed an individual LinkedIn strategy for each member of the team, covering changes to their profiles, guidelines for the content they post, and ways to extend their networks. We ran training sessions so that the team could put the strategies into practice themselves rather than depend on us to do it.

Alongside this we redesigned the firm’s existing materials to match the new brand story, adjusting layout, colour, typography and styling. We also produced a main deck and a short deck for the fundraising round, so that the documents doing the most work in front of investors carried the same identity as everything else.

The objective was to give Audacy one narrative for the raise, and a team able to tell it.

03
THE OUTCOME

Audacy went into its fundraising round with a single narrative, used consistently across its website, its materials and its social channels.

The firm’s standing as a thought leader in climate tech investment became clearer, and more visible to the people it wanted to reach.

The main deck and the short deck gave the team materials to take into investor conversations that matched the rest of the brand, and left them better prepared for the raise.
