The team behind the work

Orbis Terra Media works on the distance between who you are and what you are known for. Most of the people and organisations we meet are known already, but for the last thing they did, or to a smaller circle than their work deserves, or in terms somebody else chose for them. We work out what you want to be known for, put it into language you can use, and give you what you need for it to reach the people it was meant for.

We are an agency and a publisher. We began in 2008 with Tharawat Magazine and established Women in Family Business in 2014, and in the course of interviewing several hundred owners, founders and executives we learned how a name is made and how it is lost. For the past ten years we have been putting that to work directly for clients: leaders, and the organisations they build, across sectors and across the world.

MISSION

WHAT WE STRIVE FOR

Why we do this

We live in a period of extraordinary noise, and it is not surprising that the loudest voices are often the least useful. The more interesting question is why the others go quiet. People with judgement and perspective tend to withdraw rather than compete, because they feel helpless against the volume and because they do not have the tools to tell their story in a way that travels. We work on the voices and the stories that will help shape a more workable world, and we make sure they reach the audiences who need them.
